The current owners have recently upgraded both the property and equestrian centre.

There is a large hallway with a wide staircase leading up to the spacious lounge with central chimney breast as the main feature of the room. A new efficient gas fire has been installed to provide the winter heat. The study is accessed from the lounge with lovely open views of the distant mountains. A cloakroom is also located just off the lounge.

The two other bedrooms are located towards the front of the house and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One of the bedrooms is currently being utilised as a home gym. Every room has lots of light with views from every window.

The large enclosed barn is divided into two separate parts. The rear is used by livery clients for storage. The front of the barn is used by the owners as a workshop and to store personal belongings – there is no shortage of storage space.

In the adjoining field there are 10 separate paddocks with permanent electric fencing.
There are 6 shelters, each paddock has access to one (ie. some shelters are across the corners of two paddocks). These are important in the summer for shelter from the midday sun.
Tracks have been installed and underground water pipes are also in place so that all the paddocks can be supplied easily.
There is a Monarch lunge pen, imported from the UK, which is 20m in diameter (this is the largest size available). This bolts together so it can be moved if necessary. It has an irrigation system that works directly from the main well pump. This is switched using an automatic timer.
The dressage area is a 20m x 60m arena. This also has an irrigation system that works directly from the main well pump, and is switched using an automatic timer.

Currently its economy is focused on trade and agriculture, which was the main economic engine of the region 1000 years ago when oil, wheat and figs were already produced and delivered to Málaga city and port. Its inhabitants are known as alhaurinos but there is also a large presence of foreigners settled in the town.
