Fabulous Fuengirola

This stretch of coast has long been popular with tourists and due to its amazing attractions and superb beaches it is a place where many overseas buyers choose to live due to its proximity to Malaga airport meaning easier travel.

There are plenty of international bars and restaurants here but if you are looking for something with a more traditional vibe head to the trendy tapas bars around the towns’ main square, Plaza de la Constitucion.

If it is culture you love then a visit to Sohail Castle is a must. This former Arabic fortress sits 40 metres above sea level and there are some spectacular views from the top of the towers. Living in this area of the coast you’ll find a superb array of golf courses including Golf Torrequebrada, La Cala and Calanova Golf Club.
