Marbella Events: What’s on in Marbella?

Marbella is a hotspot for fun and lovers of a social lifestyle, and the coming weeks are perfect for it.

If you’re a resident on the Costa del Sol or you’re planning a trip to the sunny paradise over August, then you’re in for a treat.

Let’s take a look at what’s coming up…

August featured Marbella events

Love the 90s Festival – August 9th 2025

The first big event of the month is the Love the 90s Festival at the Oasis Marbella Fest venue in San Pedro Alcantara, starting on August 9th.

Love the 90s is a nostalgia-packed festival that’s dedicated to pop and dance tunes from the 1990s. The lineup includes some favourites from the past, including Haddaway, Snap!, Sonique, Jumper Brothers, Sandy Chambers, and Tina Cousins.

The event will feature themed bars, food trucks, and a range of fun and vibrant merchandise all styled after the colourful 90s aesthetic.

Palm Paradise: 22nd Anniversary – August 15th 2025

Running from 12pm to 7pm at Nikki Beach Marbella, you can enjoy a glamorous beach club celebration in a vibrant, disco-themed setting that features lush greenery and upbeat disco entertainment.

There is a dress code for Palm Paradise, so make sure you dress properly! Nikki Beach Club have told potential guests to wear ‘disco chic, bold green, metallic shine, playful prints, and standout accessories’.

If a disco at a beach club sounds like fun to you, head down to Nikki Beach Club in mid-August!

elrow Town – August 23rd 2025

One of the biggest Marbella events is elrow Town on August 23rd, running from 4pm to 4am, at Recinto Ferial de San Pedro Alcantara.

With more than 30,000 people expected to attend, the music festival will feature six stages and 50 artists, making 2025 its biggest year yet!

You can try and get tickets and accommodation online, but things are selling out quickly.

Carmen, a Boutique Opera – August 28th 2025

For something a little more serene, you may prefer Carmen, a boutique performance of the opera classic to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the dramatic Roman amphitheatre at Anantara Villa Padierna.

The experience – set under the stars in a historic venue – will last around 75 minutes, and tickets may be scarce, so hurry and book, because the amphitheatre can only hold 330 people.
