Torremolinos is a small municipality located between Benalmádena and the city of Málaga.

Stretching along the coastline, it’s the closest resort to the International Airport of Málaga, taking under 15 minutes by car. Is there much to do in Torremolinos?

Developed in the 50s and 60s, Torremolinos is one of the earliest resort towns in Spain and was a holiday hotspot for many celebrities.

It’s a holiday paradise; known for its warm sunny weather and 7km of blue flag beaches. The main boulevard – which runs through the heart of the town – is home to many large family hotels.

However, aside from being a tourist hotspot, Torremolinos is a bustling coastal town with a typical Andalusian core. It benefits from a range of lively restaurants, cafés, tapas bars, and shops, all of which add a little local charm to its classic ‘summer holiday’ atmosphere. And the resort’s La Carihuela district is built around the old fishing village and is a very charming area to visit.
