New Developments on the Costa del Sol: 2026–2027 Launch Calendar for Mijas, Marbella and Estepona
Last updated: October 2026
If you are looking at new developments on the Costa del Sol in 2026, timing matters as much as location. The same apartment can cost noticeably more, and come with a far shorter list of available units, depending on whether you reserve at pre-launch or once construction is well under way.
This page tracks the new-build projects our team is following on the Costa del Sol. For each one, you will find its current stage, the price from, the type of homes and the estimated delivery date.
We refresh it every quarter. Prices and stages change quickly in this market, so check the date above before you rely on any figure.
Which new developments are Bromley Estates launching on the Costa del Sol in 2026 and 2027?
Here are the projects we are currently tracking. Each one is covered in more detail further down.
| Development | Location | Stage | Price from | Homes | Estimated delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Calanova Infinity | Calanova Golf, La Cala de Mijas | Pre-launch | €480,000 | 2–3 bed apartments and penthouses | Subject to building licence |

What does each stage of a new development mean?
Every project on this page sits at one of four stages. Each one changes what you can choose, what you pay and how much risk you carry.
Pre-launch
The developer has the land and the project design, but sales have not opened to the public. Prices are at their lowest and the full range of units is available. Plans and specifications may still be refined.
Licence granted
The town hall has issued the building licence (licencia de obras), so construction can legally begin. This is the point where many cautious buyers feel comfortable reserving.
Under construction
Work is visible on site and the delivery date becomes more reliable. The best-positioned units, such as top floors, corner plots and front-line views, have often been reserved by this stage.
Near completion
The homes are close to handover. You can usually walk through a show home or the finished building, and you will be asked for a larger share of the price over a much shorter period.
Which projects are we tracking, and where are they now?
Calanova Infinity
Set on the slopes of Calanova Golf, a few minutes’ drive from the beaches and restaurants of La Cala de Mijas, Calanova Infinity looks out over the golf course towards the Mediterranean.
Current stage: pre-launch. Prices start from €480,000 for two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses. The delivery date will depend on when the building licence is granted.
What stands out for us is the combination of golf, sea views and a short drive to the beach. As one of the earliest-stage projects on the list, it offers the widest choice of units and the longest payment schedule.
Sol Fairway Residences
Sol Fairway sits within La Cala Golf Resort, with views across the fairways and the valley, around ten minutes inland from La Cala de Mijas.
Current stage: coming soon. It will offer apartments and townhouses with one to four bedrooms. Prices and the delivery date will be confirmed when sales open.
It suits buyers who want a lock-up-and-leave home in a resort with its own golf, gym and restaurants.
Célere Nayra
Célere Nayra is located in El Chaparral, on the Mijas coast between Fuengirola and Marbella, with open sea views and easy access to the A-7.
Current stage: pre-launch. Prices start from €359,500 for two- and three-bedroom apartments. Estimated delivery is Q4 2028.
It is the most affordable entry point in this calendar, and a good fit for buyers who want a new-build apartment close to La Cala and Fuengirola. If you are looking in this part of the coast, our La Cala de Mijas guide covers the area in more detail.
Belvedere Collection, Torreblanca
Belvedere Collection is a boutique development of 36 apartments in Torreblanca, on the hillside above Fuengirola, looking out over the Mediterranean.
Current stage: building licence granted. Prices start from €545,000 for two- to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, from 94 m² to 188 m². Estimated delivery is Q4 2028.
With only 36 homes, and Bromley Estates as exclusive agent, it suits buyers who want sea views close to the shops, restaurants and train line of Fuengirola.
What about Marbella and Estepona?
We will add launches in Marbella and Estepona to this calendar as soon as we can share details. In the meantime, our Marbella and Estepona area pages show what is available there now.

Why does buying at pre-launch matter?
In short: you get the widest choice, usually the best price and the most comfortable payment schedule. The trade-off is that you are buying from plans and waiting longer for the keys.
Choice of units
On a new development, the first buyers pick first. That means the top-floor penthouses, the corner units with wraparound terraces and the homes with the clearest views tend to go early, often within the first weeks of sales opening.
Price
Developers often release units in phases and raise prices as each phase sells. A buyer who reserves at pre-launch can pay less than someone who buys the same type of home a year later.
Payment schedule
Off-plan purchases are normally paid in stages: a reservation fee, then instalments during construction, and the balance at completion. The earlier you buy, the longer that schedule runs, which spreads the cost over more time. A common structure is around 30–40% of the price paid in stages during construction and the balance on completion, but every developer sets its own terms.
If you are planning to finance the balance, Spanish banks normally lend at completion rather than during construction. Our Spanish mortgage guide for non-residents explains how much you can borrow.
The trade-off
Buying early means accepting more uncertainty. Delivery dates can slip, and you are judging the finished product from plans, renders and a specification sheet. That is why the checks in the next section matter.
What should you check before reserving off-plan?
A few checks protect you whichever stage you buy at. Your independent lawyer should confirm each one before you pay anything beyond the reservation fee.
Are your payments guaranteed?
Under Spanish law, money you pay a developer before completion must be protected by a bank guarantee or insurance policy, and held in a special account. If the project is not finished or licensed, that protection lets you recover what you paid. Ask for the guarantee for each instalment, not just a general promise.
Does the licence match the project?
At pre-launch there may be no building licence yet. Your lawyer can check the planning status of the land and, once issued, that the licence matches what you are buying.
What is included in the price?
Check the specification sheet, the floor plan and the exact area of the home and terrace. Ask whether parking and storage are included in the residential title or sold separately.
What will it cost on top?
New builds in Andalusia attract 10% VAT (IVA) plus 1.2% stamp duty (AJD), rather than the 7% transfer tax paid on resales. Garage spaces and storage rooms with their own title deed may be charged VAT at 21%. Our guide to the true cost of buying property in Spain breaks down every fee, and our buying process page covers each step through to completion.
You will also need an NIE number before you can sign at the notary, so start early.
This is a general overview, not legal or tax advice. Always have an independent Spanish lawyer review the contract before you sign.
How often is this calendar updated?
We review this page every quarter. When a project moves stage, changes its prices or confirms a delivery date, we update its entry. New launches are added as soon as we can share details.
If a project has sold out or been delivered, we note it rather than removing it, so you can see how the market has moved.
Next scheduled update: January 2027
